About the Event
Around the world, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) littering has become an unsightly facet of life.
A recent Euronews report noted how birds birds were found with their gullets stuffed full of latex gloves and how crabs were found tangled up in face masks. Improperly disposed masks and gloves, in addition to posing a health risk in an open environment, can also find their way to our beaches and oceans.
