Beach Cleanup - Umm Al Quwain

Did you know that cigarette butts have plastic in them? Did you know that they're the most littered items on the world's beaches? Did you know that plastic when left under the sun can break down into microplastics which have been found in the air we breath, the food we eat and the water we drink? 

Local municipalities, waste management companies and the awesome humans they employ are working diligently to keep our beaches and public amenities clean but, there's nothing like the look on a person who litters' face or a smoker's face when we pick up litter and cigarette butts right in front of their eyes.
